Our Team
The governing body of the Native Village of Emmonak is the Tribal Council. The Tribal Council is composed of seven members who are each elected by Emmonak’s Tribal Citizens to a three-year term. Elections are held annually in October.
To be eligible to serve on the Tribal Council, a person must be at least 18 years old, be an enrolled Tribal Citizen in the Native Village of Emmonak and not have a criminal record. Candidates must also be willing to undergo a criminal background check.
Emmonak’s daily tribal operations are managed by a dedicated staff of team members. Together, they work to support Emmonak’s mission and values and provide services and support to Emmonak’s tribal citizens.
