Online Voting Available for Tribal Elections

The Native Village of Emmonak is pleased to announce that, for the upcoming election that runs October 7-17, 2025, Tribal citizens will have the option to cast their votes online on the EmmonakVote.com portal. This new capability builds on the Tribe’s efforts to increase accessibility and participation for all Tribal Citizens.

“We believe that every citizen should have a safe and accessible way to make their voice heard,” said Janice Agwiak, Tribal Administrator. “By offering online voting, we hope to remove barriers for those who may have difficulty voting a paper ballot and provide the option for those who prefer the convenience of voting electronically.”

Key details about the online voting option:

  • Qualified Tribal citizens will have access to a secure online voting portal during the designated voting period.

  • The online option is meant to complement—not replace—traditional voting methods. Those who prefer to vote in person or by paper ballot may still do so.

  • Additional instructions, deadlines, and technical support will be shared in the coming days.

  • Security, confidentiality, and election integrity measures will be in place to protect the process.

We encourage all members to stay informed and take advantage of this new voting option.

If you have questions about how to use the online voting system—or if you prefer to vote another way—please reach out to the Tribal office at 907-949-1720.
